"Hey! I am depressed; Can,t live like this any more; I am stressed; My life is doomed..well,  these are the common phrases we say and hear these days".

 

The reason people get depressed easily is that people tend to see depression everywhere. The word depression is todays most used complaing  word. We live in a world where the depression rate in quite high. The statistics from several surveys done by different organizations show the same result. Every zone is effected equaly whether Asia, Africa, America, Europe etc. The reasons of getting depressed are different but the result is unfortunately same. Even the people of every age group are also complaining of geting depressed. Some get depressed occasionally while others every now and then.

 

The thing is that in order to get rid of depression or stress a few changes in life are very important.

 

- Above all remember that only you can change your life.You need to get rid of all your worries love yourself as well. Find your talent and get focused. Get busy in the things you love. 

- Follow your instincts. Everyone has it believe me. Listen to it carefully and you will know what you want in your life and what life has stored for you. There are certain things that you cant change. The only hold you have is on your own life so leave the things you can't control in the hands of God. As it is said thats its okay to not know all the answers and its also okay not to get everything under control.

- Follow your religion because it sets a limit in your life.. well, this might be a surprising notion at first but you will realise by the passage of time that its a great help. Your decisions would be according to the norms defined by your religion/beliefs. In the long term this attitude will affect you is a good way and things will become easier and goal oriented. You will know that where your life is heading. What is bound to happen will happen, simply place yor beilef that it would be for good without giving place to the negative thoughts or feelings that would eventually result in depression.

- Get rid of negative feelings you have for others or yourself. The grudges that you keep in your heart eat away your freshness and your personality in a way you dont even know. You dont even realize the consequences of these negative feelings immediatly but in the long term you become a hopeless person with no real self at all. Say no to the ego, hate, grudges and regrets. Remember that your negative feelings will only affect your life not others. 

- Take out some time for yourself. Self grooming always puts a healthy effect on your mind.When you look good, you feel good also. Dont hate anyone but dont overdo it. Be real, dont try to fake yourself. Be yourself, it will be a great help.

- Make a space in your life for your loved ones. It is very imporatant. Its good to be practical or self oriented but remember humanbeings are the species that depend on each other in one way or the other. Take time out of your busy schedule to spend it with your family. Latest researches show that the time spend with your parents and friends help you to get a break from monotonous routine and help you realise that what better can you do in your life. 

- Smile a lot. Scietifically whenever we smile endorphins (nuerotransmitters) are secreted from our brain. Endorphins are natural antidepresents which triggers positive feelings in your body. Secondly, a happy heart would definitely be satisfied, contended and relaxed. Watch some comedy stuff, visit your favourite place, eat something you love (beware of binging) and spend time with people close to you. This all would add up and help in a great way. You will be more focused on what you do in your life. The everyday tasks wont be a problem then. 

 

These are a few ways, you can feel better with long term effects, that will change your life completely. Eventually, you will know the purpose of your life and once you become a better person you will be gathered by ones too. So, get out of your shell and get rid of this so called depression with your positive attitude. Have a great purposeful life people.
